Who are we?

Brilliance in Bloom is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering women in STEM fields. Our mission is to provide opportunities, resources, knowledge, and community to women in STEM through our newsletter, blog, and Discord server. We believe that everyone should have equal access to education and opportunities in STEM, regardless of their gender. Join us in our quest to create a more inclusive and diverse STEM community!

Star Amponsah

I am Star Amponsah, a recent graduate, and a future business owner. I plan to go into the robotics startup industry as I start my undergraduate in mechanical engineering. As an aspiring astronaut with a passion for humanitarianism and a touch of creativity, my diverse interests are utilized in my ambitions. Join me on a journey of innovation and compassion at Brilliance in Bloom.

Jamya Lewis

Hi everyone! My name is Jamya Lewis and I'm so glad I am able to be a part of the Brilliance In Bloom team as a co-founder! I'm an incoming freshman at Hampton University and I will be studying biology on the pre-med track. This organization has taken much time to see the light of the day so I'm proud of all we have accomplished. This is my first time ever creating something like this, so I have a lot to learn! I'm grateful to Star for approaching me with this idea, and I'm so excited to see all of your amazing ideas to come life.
